Your new companyOur client is a global law firm with particular expertise within the insurance sector; they are regarded as one of the international leaders in insurance. They currently have an excellent opportunity for a Claims Handling Team Lead to join their Insurance division to be responsible for overseeing a team of claims handlers, ensuring that cases are managed efficiently, fairly, and with the highest standards of customer service. You'll provide guidance, support, and development to your team, while also acting as a point of escalation for complex claims. You will be able to work from home frequently with travel to the Taunton, Bristol or London office as and when required (likely on a monthly basis).
Your new roleThe team handles claims on behalf of major international insurers, brokers, managing general agents and insurer-led schemes. They deal with thousands of notifications and their claims handlers provide proactive, responsive, and cost-effective claims services, driven by a desire to provide outstanding client service. You will:
1. Lead, motivate, and support a team of claims handlers to achieve performance targets and service levels;
2. Monitor workflow and allocate resources to ensure timely and effective claims processing;
