The Red Shed is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in creating and maintaining beautiful, dementia-friendly gardens. This role is crucial in providing therapeutic outdoor spaces and engaging activities for people living with dementia and their carers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management: Oversee staff and volunteers, manage recruitment, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
* Operations & Activities: Manage garden maintenance, coordinate Garden Clubs, Carers' Cafés, and other activities.
* Reporting & Communication: Liaise with the CEO, manage communications, and represent The Red Shed at external events.
* Impact Measurement: Implement strategies to measure the impact of our activities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience: Proven experience in garden management, community gardening, and people management.
* Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, a passion for gardening, and a commitment to social impact.
* Attributes: Positive, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
