You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of the Building Maintenance Section of Place Services. Including maintenance and investment contracts, reflecting Best Value, legislative and financial requirements of the Service, statutory obligations, service delivery targets, strategic objectives, taking decisions, or actions, in accordance with the Council’s Scheme of Delegation. Liaising closely with client services to ensure that a high level of performance and quality of service is achieved.
To be eligible for this role, you must have a Construction-related degree or equivalent professional qualification, as well as a Property Maintenance qualification or equivalent. You must also be a member of the Institute of Maintenance and Building Management.
You will have significant experience in Senior Management and project management with a strong commercial acumen, who can manage, and lead projects involving the reallocation of staff and financial resources and produce high-quality reports. You should also have advanced computer and IT skills.
