This dynamic position combines administrative expertise with customer-facing activities, including outbound calls to generate orders, identifying new leads, and strengthening customer connections.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support:
1. Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
2. Researching and canvassing for new business.
3. Prepare quotes, invoices, and other sales-related documentation.
4. Maintain and update internal systems with customer and order details.
5. Enter new customer accounts and credit limits onto the systems.
6. Assist the sales team with preparing reports, presentations, and sales data.
Customer Service for existing & potential customers
1. Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to existing customers to follow up on orders, check satisfaction, and identify upselling opportunities.
2. Advise customers of predicted delivery dates, updates on orders, and deal with customer queries.
3. Maintain the service level agreement with the customer.
4. Effective management and satisfactory resolution of customer complaints.
Administrative Tasks:
1. Approve orders for accounts which are over original credit limit set.
2. Support Finance on the control of credit limits and chase late payments.
3. Manage both the Key Account Directors & Account Managers diaries, ensuring they are meeting customers as defined and on a regular basis.
4. Issue credit notes as required.
5. Chair daily meetings with purchasing, technical, transport quality and production on customer order progression.
6. General office administration as required.
Telesales & Lead Generation:
1. Proactively conduct outbound calls to potential customers to introduce yourself and the company and its products and services.
2. Identify sales opportunities and pass leads to the sales team.
3. Support marketing campaigns.
What you will need:
1. Confident communication and phone skills.
2. The ability to cold call potential clients.
3. Excellent data entry and administration skills.
4. Ability to deliver excellent consultative advice to customers.
5. Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills.
6. Ability to translate customer account history into opportunities to up and cross-sell.
7. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word essential).
8. Previous sales experience within a similar manufacturing environment.
9. Understanding of sales targets and deadlines.
10. Proven experience of working in customer sales, call centre, or partnering role.
