We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school located in the heart of Hartlepool. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree in a science-related subject (Physics, Biology, Chemistry or combined sciences).
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Passion for Science and a commitment to helping students succeed.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Experience in teaching KS3 & KS4 is desirable but not essential.
* A proactive and positive approach to teaching and student development.
Key Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high quality science lessons.
* Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and academic success.
* Assess, track and report on students’ progress, ensuring tailored support for individual learning needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
* Display effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
