These teams are expected to be proactive, honest, and influential, using their insights to reflect and challenge the business while translating data into compelling narratives. Currently, there's an opening for a Manager in the Business Solutions Business Partnering (BSBP) team, which provides decision support for central functions with a cost base of approximately £0.7bn. Aligned with PwC's strategy of leveraging technology for better outcomes, the role offers commercial insight into support costs and a shared service model, reporting to a Finance Leader. What your days will look like: Business Strategy and Planning : The Manager supports Function and Finance Leads with insights and analysis for P&L management, leads specific business components, provides ad hoc analysis, and offers strategic insight to leadership. Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborates with Function and Finance Leaders to prepare budgets and forecasts, delivering forward-looking reports and commentary to aid future performance management. Performance Management and Commercial Solutions : Interprets monthly financial results, communicates findings, monitors financial performance against KPIs, and escalates issues requiring management action. Financial Control and Compliance : Ensures adherence to accounting standards, provides local financial risk expertise, supports complex queries, and aids in quarter and year-end audit processes. This role is for you if: Must possess a relevant finance qualification, such as CA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA (or an international equivalent) with a strong commercial mindset and business understanding. Demonstrates application of accounting standards and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Action-oriented and self-starting, with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of work. Excels in building strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders, complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills. Possesses intermediate to advanced Excel skills and a technology-enabled mindset to identify and drive change through technology. Knowledge of Alteryx and/or PowerBI is advantageous.
