About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant school in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
As an LSA, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide one-on-one or group support for students with varying educational needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting students in their learning both in and outside the classroom.
* Assisting the teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
* Helping with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Encouraging students to build confidence, resilience, and independence.
* Promoting positive behavior and social interaction.
What We’re Looking For:
* A patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual.
* Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
