The Role: General Manager Sector: Facilities Management – Soft Services Location: London Salary: £50,000 to £55,000pa We have an excellent opportunity for a General Manager to take the lead at a stunning central London site. Our client is a global service provider with a reputation for excellence. This role will require an individual with high standards and excellent people skills. The General Manager will lead a team of 50 Cleaning and Support Service staff across this dual site which is home to a high number of national and international students. FM experience is not essential but would be advantageous. Equally, we welcome candidates who have worked as Executive Housekeeper or Operations Manager within a large hotel setting. The General manager will need to be confident, with key stakeholder management experience and the ability to work in partnership with clients to ensure the visions and aspirations of the new contract are realised. You will need to possess excellent management and communication skills, have a good understanding of report writing and financial management, and be able to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem-solving. A real passion for customer service, and the ability to lead the team to maintain and improve standards across the site. Whilst the role is predominantly Monday to Friday, we will ask that there is a level of flexibility around that at time too.
