Job summary Deputy Ward Manager, Band 6 Opportunity Sefton Suite An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, hardworking Deputy Ward Manager to join our team on the Sefton Suite. Sefton Suite is a 16 bedded ward providing care for both Private and NHS Patients. We cover several specialties including Private Patients, Orthopaedics, ENT and a variety of surgical procedures. We are looking for a suitably experienced nurse who is passionate about patient safety and the delivery of exceptional quality care to patients. You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to adopt a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives and colleagues. You will assist the Ward Manager with the operational management for the team working on the Ward. You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement. You should have a keen interest in providing high quality patient centred care in a busy, fast paced, ever changing and often challenging environment. For this role you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, you must display a positive and professional manner, be open to change and have the drive and commitment to aim to get it right for every patient every time.
