The opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Manager looking to progress their career.
Reporting to the Head of UK Casualty, your overall responsibility will be to lead our team of dedicated Casualty Adjusters, continuing to develop our growing Casualty business, through the delivery of Market leading service and technical excellence.
Although this is a home-based role, the candidate should be located in the North of England, as local market presence is required.
The role
* Financial performance as against the set regional budget, to include.
o Effectively managing regional resource within the set headcount
o Revenue/Time logging targets
o Effectively managing aged WIP
o Assisting credit control to recover debt
o Identification of possible recruitment requirements as appropriate within the budget or when opportunities identified to aid profitable growth of the region
* Delivery of excellent and consistent regional performance against set performance measures such as
o Client SLA’s
o Exception reports
o External audits
o Internal QA measures
o Compliments / Engage initiative
o Complaints
* Management of own caseload and involvement in supporting the cases handled by the team as required to include
o Assist with complaint resolution
o Mentoring
o Support during holidays and sickness leave
* Continual review of processes, systems and methodologies with the aim of providing
o The most efficient method of working
o New and innovative solutions to what we do
o Accurate MI on all cases
o A high energy and exciting work environment
o Market leading on boarding process
* Promote and facilitate an environment for staff development through the following
o Delivery of timely appraisals for the region
o Encourage and drive professional qualifications within the region
o Facilitate delivery of identified training needs and requirements
o Encouraging technical development and learning
o Organise delivery of appropriate mentoring
o Assist with succession planning through the identification of individuals and subsequent provision of opportunities for development of technical and management skills
* Identify and deliver on regional growth opportunities by
o Working closely with the Head of UK Casualty and Client Services team on regional business development strategy
o Promoting an environment of client focus and encourage and facilitate client interaction at all levels.
o Providing suitable resource to participate in the Account Management of existing or prospective Insurer clients.
About you - Knowledge and Experience
* Compliance with Casualty and client specific SLA’s and KPI’s.
* Significant demonstrable Casualty adjusting experience
* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
* A proven track record of building strong working relationships, externally and internally
* Enthusiasm and ambition to grow the role and the proposition, to continue achieving positive outcomes and an aptitude to deliver to targets
* Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently to self-manage work and time
* CII or CILA qualification or relevant qualifications/applicable experience
* A willingness to travel nationally where required, flexibility is a must
