Direct message the job poster from Surya Foods.
This isn't for the faint-hearted, as we are a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business that will deliver on an opportunity or NPD within weeks/months and not years.
You'll be working with No.1 brands including Laila, Mai Thai, Humza, Sun Hee, and Kewpie in the eclectic category of World Foods. Developing ranges within South Asian, Afro-Caribbean, Eastern European, Mediterranean, and Far South East Asia. It's the category you don't walk down, but you should. It's the fastest growing category within grocery and is being given a lot more space and attention by Retailers. We own events such as Diwali, Ramadan, and Lunar New Year where our customers now expect Surya Foods to lead on value, volume, and innovation.
We work hard and celebrate success as a team. If you show desire, willingness, and aptitude, the sky is the limit on your career within Surya Foods. We are a lean team, and you will be expected to think for yourself, so if you're used to a team around you to do NLFs, chase up buying/technical, and do your costings, this won't be the job for you. Roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
We're based in Harwich, Essex - we can't help that, but that's life. You'll need to be able to travel to the office 1-2 days per week, so if you live 'up north,' this probably isn't for you. Your account base is mainly southern based. You know, the ones in Hatfield, Holborn, and Welwyn Garden City, so a driving license is essential.
Whatever you do, don't add 'I'm interested' to the job post. Use your initiative and reach out to the hirer.
