Role Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of audit clients, overseeing the entire process from planning to completion
* Leading, coaching, and developing a team of ABS staff, ensuring work is completed to a high standard
* Optimising team performance, meeting or exceeding billing and utilisation targets
* Collaborating with other ABS Managers to ensure efficient use of resources across the department
* Providing advisory and support services for accounting software such as Sage and Xero
* Working closely with Directors, identifying opportunities to offer additional value to clients
* Handling ad-hoc advisory projects, providing expert financial insight and support
* Building strong client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor for financial and business matters

* £50,000 to £70,000 per annum

The Ideal Candidate
* ACA or ACCA qualified with proven experience in an Audit Manager role
* Experience working with a variety of audit clients, particularly owner-managed businesses
* Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching teams
* A client-focused approach, with a passion for delivering high-quality service
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
* Strong time management and organisational skills, able to handle multiple priorities
* A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to develop and progress
