Sizewell C is set to be a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a pivotal role in supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering the Sizewell C project in line with customer and stakeholder requirements. Your role will encompass verifying compliance against project requirements, managing assurance activities, resolving issues, and ensuring stringent adherence to procedures. You'll be working closely with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive quality and excellence across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Participate in pre-start meetings for significant projects and support the creation and adherence to quality plans. Provide guidance and support to delivery teams in achieving required deliverables, offering quality advice where needed. Utilize digital systems to monitor and manage quality deliverables, ensuring alignment with targets. Support the collation and delivery of handover records, ensuring they meet customer requirements. Assist in internal and external audits, and contribute to developing quality strategies and continuous improvement initiatives. Train, coach, and develop team members on quality skills and lessons learned. Advocate for a Zero Harm and Right First Time approach in all activities. So why not you? What We're Looking For Essential: Proven experience in Quality Assurance or relevant operational/technical roles. Knowledge of ISO9000 terminology and commitment to Quality Management. Ability to analyze data, work to plans, build relationships, and communicate effectively. Proficiency in modern office technology (e.g., Office 365). Desirable: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training. Familiarity with sector-specific certifications and Digital Progressive Assurance systems. Operational experience in construction or asset management. Qualifications: Essential: Level 4 Qualification in Quality, Construction, Manufacturing, or related fields. Desirable: CQI Practitioner status or working towards it.
