Working for a small, well-established business, the Office Administrator will provide general administration support to colleagues. The Office Administrator will work as part of a motivated, hard-working team, who provide training and celebrate success.

Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 9-5:30, Friday 8:30-5.
Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Checking and distributing voicemail messages, opening post/emails and distributing promptly to the correct person.
2. Greeting visitors and showing them to the appropriate meeting room, providing drinks.
3. Answering incoming calls and ensuring calls or messages are transferred to the relevant colleague.
4. Maintaining day-to-day office supplies, checking stationery inventory regularly to ensure levels are maintained and new requirements are ordered when necessary, following approval from the Office Manager.
5. Taking of relevant customer fees via the card terminal.
6. Scanning and certifying documentation.
7. Ensuring customer files are regularly filed away throughout the day and maintaining the monthly archive of onsite files whilst ensuring records for these files are accurate.
8. Providing administration support to colleagues.
9. Outgoing postal management, ensuring records are updated accordingly.
10. Minute taking for meetings and generating those minutes where applicable.
11. Complying with FCA Conduct Rules.
Qualifications and skills:
1. Previous administration experience.
2. 5 GCSE's Grade 6 (B) or above, including Maths and English.
3. Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
4. Polite telephone manner, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Extremely organised, able to prioritise and adapt to a changing work schedule.
6. Excellent attention to detail.
7. Use initiative.
8. Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
9. Committed to completing tasks on time.
10. Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for learning.
11. A strong customer focus with the desire to go the extra mile.
12. Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
13. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to pass a credit check and provide 5 years' employment/education references.
