Interim Financial Controller / Project Accountant
3-6 month interim finance contract

Role overview:
As the Financial Controller, you will be working primarily within the project delivery function but liaising closely with a number of departments, including the Finance team. This role is to be responsible for all finance matters in relation to the company's overseas projects. The position will suit a Qualified Accountant who is pragmatic, has good communication skills and a high attention to detail, as well as having experience of working on large-scale international projects.
Responsibilities:
* Budgeting and cash flow planning for all international systems projects, including large-scale, complex projects
* Producing budgets, forecasts, project accounts and financial reports for the Exec
* Controlling expenditure in line with budgets
* Reporting on financial implications of project changes and risks
* Cost control and governance - review invoices to ensure they meet approved limits/agreed contracts
* Project finance
* Liaising with auditors as required
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant
* Experience working on international projects
* Uncompromising attention to detail
* Ability to think outside the box
* Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
* Appreciation of cultural differences in overseas territories and ability to communicate well with customers and advisors overseas
* Solid knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
* Desire to build a solid, secure career with a rapidly growing company
