Location: Hybrid to be in office once per week
Reports To: Head of Products, Claims
Department: Claims/Insurance/Product Management
Velonetic represents the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London. We have been operating for over 20 years in the London market, processing over £101 billion worth of premium and claims transactions today. We are building a new digital platform and services that will enable our customers to move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle with greater efficiency and speed.
Individual will reside in the UK and have Right to Work in the UK.
Job Overview:
The Claims Product and Solutions Manager is responsible for developing and managing the claims products and solutions within the organization. This role involves driving innovation, enhancing product offerings, and ensuring efficient claims processing to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Product Development and Management:
o Lead and support the Claims Product Managers with the development and enhancement of claims products and solutions.
o Support/manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
o Continuously assess and improve existing claims products and solutions.
* Strategic Planning and Roadmap:
o Assist/support with designing the strategic direction for claims product offerings and manage product roadmaps.
o Work closely with the leadership team to define product priorities and timelines.
o Assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with various teams to ensure the smooth implementation of new products and solutions.
o Work closely with IT, operations, and development teams.
o Foster relationships with key external stakeholders.
* Claims Operations and Efficiency:
o Develop and implement process improvements to enhance claims processing.
o Ensure claims products and solutions are customer-centric.
o Monitor performance and analyze claims data.
* Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure all products and solutions comply with relevant regulations.
o Work closely with compliance and legal teams.
* Training and Knowledge Sharing:
o Provide/support with training to internal teams.
o Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on claims product offerings.
o Promote knowledge sharing across the claims and product teams.
* Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
o Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback.
o Monitor customer satisfaction with claims products and solutions.
* Performance Metrics and Reporting:
o Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
* Experience:
o 3+ years of experience in claims management or claims adjusting.
o Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
o Understanding of the life cycle of a claim.
* Skills & Abilities:
o Flexible thinker able to adapt to new ways of working.
o Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
o Familiarity with claims management software.
o Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
o Passion and desire to support customers.
* Preferred Experience:
o London Market Claims experience.
o An understanding of digital transformation within the insurance and claims industries.
o Strong analytical skills.
