Ensure effective line management of staff and ensure they are supported in performing to their full potential. Ensure junior staff have appropriate support and supervision and are appropriately assessed. Attend midwifery meetings and Band 7 meetings communicating content to team members. To ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times and that you comply with trust information governance guidance/policy. Ensure effective and transparent communication with patients, relatives, carers and staff, taking into consideration level of understanding, culture and background.
