Technology Product Owner - Financial Services
Sterlings are currently partnered with a Financial Services Business, who are seeking a Product Owner to join their team. This is an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract position.
The role holder will work as a Product Owner within the IT department, responsible for a functional area of the Platform, driving it forwards to deliver value to customers, and aligning with the company objectives.
The role holder will be responsible for their own backlog of Features, User Stories and System Bugs, as well as liaising with stakeholders, prioritising the backlog and ensuring the work meets the definition of ready.
Other key duties include collaborating with scrum teams of internal software developers, business experts and third party software suppliers to develop, deliver and implement new and enhanced software based solutions.
Experience Required:
1. Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an agile development environment.
2. Demonstrable experience of delivering solutions to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
3. Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar management tool to support the end-to-end development lifecycle.
4. A curious nature, a keenness to collaborate and an ability to drive a plan.
This is a hybrid position, and typically people are in the Bath office 1-2 times a week, with potential for further flexibility.
