About the Role:
The Digital Assets Specialist supports optimizing our asset systems for seamless access and engagement. As part of the Web Marketing team, you’ll implement digital asset organization and usability. The Specialist plays a crucial role in our digital ecosystem by ensuring efficient organization, storage, and accessibility of our digital assets. Working within the Web Marketing team, you'll help build and maintain our digital asset library while supporting cross-functional teams in leveraging these resources effectively.
How you will make an impact:
* Organize, tag, and maintain digital assets (images, videos, documents, etc.) within our DAM system.
* Create and implement metadata standards to ensure assets are easily searchable and accessible.
* Assist with the intake and processing of new digital assets from various departments.
* Train marketing team members on DAM system best practices and provide ongoing support.
* Monitor asset usage and implement version control protocols.
* Generate reports on asset utilization and system performance.
* Collaborate with creative, marketing, and web teams to ensure digital assets align with brand guidelines.
* Execute day-to-day operations of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring timely organization, storage, and distribution of digital assets.
* Support the implementation of DAM strategies developed by senior management, ensuring alignment with organization goals.
* Stay updated on DAM system updates and basic industry trends, sharing insights with the team for operational improvements.
What we look for:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information management, or a similar role.
* 1-2 years of experience in digital asset management or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of DAM systems and workflows (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Brightcove, YouTube, or similar platforms).
* Proven experience in managing digital assets and content for large, complex organizations.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of metadata standards, taxonomy, and best practices for asset organization.
* Familiarity with copyright laws, licensing, and intellectual property management.
* Analytical mindset with experience in evaluating system performance and user needs.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and support decision-making.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
