ABOUT THE ROLE: • Support the Marketing Communications Team, in the delivery of a broad range of marketing activities to build brand awareness and drive sales across a wide range of products and services. • Assist with internal communications tasks and brand updates. • Build a broad understanding of Viper’s sector’s, target markets and competitors and identify trends and digital opportunities for sales growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Specific Responsibilities of the Role 1.1. Support the marketing team in delivering marketing activities as part of the main Marketing plan and strategy. 1.2. Copywriting of emails, literature, articles and social media posts. 1.3. Creation of basic artwork templates using Canva, InDesign or other creative software. 1.4. Assist in the preparation of creative/project briefs for design, branding and digital agencies and assist with the management of projects from initial brief, manage artwork amends, internal approvals and final production and delivery. 1.5. Carry out market research where directed, to assist Viper in entering new markets or launching new products and services. 1.6. Support internal communications within the company including the creation of intranet pages. 1.7. Assist in the planning and organising of company exhibitions and corporate events across the UK and internationally. Including occasional attendance, where required. 1.8. Support the digital marketing strategy and communications plan, including posting on social media platforms. 1.9. Keep up-to-date with marketing platforms and technologies. 1.10. Assist with protecting and promoting the correct use of the company Viper brand by all stakeholders in the business. 1.11. Support the selection, design, sourcing and inventory management of physical marketing collateral including print media, client “giveaways”, office stationary, mugs, branded clothing, etc. 1.12. Update marketing collateral, such as sales brochures, graphics and company presentation templates. 2. Leadership and Management 2.1. Undertake obligations in accordance with Viper’s ISO accreditations from time to time, e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO27001, as detailed in the Operations Manual. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: • Hons Degree (or equivalent) in a Marketing, Media, Communications or Business discipline, and/or 1-2 years of experience working in a marketing, communications or media related role. • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. • Ability to manage time and co-ordinate priorities effectively. • A creative flare for basic graphic design and copywriting. • Innovative with the confidence and ability to present fresh ideas. Beneficial skills: • Previous experience working with marketing platforms and software, e.g. WordPress, InDesign and Canva.
