My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to join their growing team based near Reading.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to the Strategic Works Division construction projects while advancing your career.\n\nProjects are predominantly architectural fit out works on MOD sites. The role is office based in Aldermaston / Tadley with site visits as required.\n\nKey Skills and Qualifications:\n\nCertification: Professional body certifications and memberships are highly desirable, but not essential.\n\nExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with proven project delivery skills.\n\nKnowledge of, or strong estimating skills is desirable.\n\nContract Knowledge: Extensive experience with construction contracts, NEC (New Engineering Contract) experience desirable, but not essential.\n\nTechnical Skills: Experience of estimating, cost forecasting and reporting, cost control, cost risk management, contract documentation preparation, contract administration and strong MS excel skills.\n\nFinancial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management principles, including cash flow analysis, cost reporting, and forecasting.\n\nRisk Management: Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project life cycle.\n\nProcurement Expertise: Experience in managing procurement processes, including subcontractor selection and subcontract documents and supplier negotiations.\n\nLegal Compliance: Familiarity with construction-related legislation and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\nOn offer, is a competitive salary and benefits package including discretionary bonus scheme
