AAU is an extremely busy 19 bedded ward that accepts patients for medical assessment from G.Ps and A&E. We are looking for a Sister/Charge with Acute Care experience to complete our team, who will have excellent communication skills, keen to learn and has the ability to develop and support students and staff with clinical expertise.
The successful applicant will be expected to function effectively under pressure without compromising basic standards of care and professionalism. In return we will be offered excellent managerial support, collaborative working with interconnecting departments and commitment to your personal professional development.

You will need at least two years experience in an acute setting at Band 5, with a Mentorship or Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor (PA/PS) or the equivalent qualification. Opportunities for further educational development will be available.
