The role:
To find and place students with suitable work placements for their courses, providing support throughout the process.
* Part time (22 hours per week)
* Term time (36 weeks per annum)
* Permanent
* Gorseinon Campus, Swansea
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide one to one student support and skills assessment at placements and settings through pre-arranged visits.
* To continually review and update procedure and systems for placement tracking and monitoring.
* To undertake monitoring, vetting and risk assessments as required.
* Keeping abreast of and contributing to curriculum development and innovations affecting work placement and skills development.
About you:
* Level 3 qualification in the area of Health and Social Care/Childcare
* 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent
* Knowledge of work placement monitoring and vetting or prepared to undertake training in this area
* Ability to work well under own initiative, working confidently with the team and independently
