This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team in Logistics in Nottingham. You will work as part of the Boots Transport Office team which sits in the Logistics function by developing and maintaining an MI database, providing system administration and support, including testing and development. You will also work on projects and initiatives through data analytics to support efficiencies. Production of standard reporting suites Analysing data to identify problems and trends to determine areas for performance improvement (cost, productivity, demand, patterns, etc) Investigating problems, finding root causes, and supporting solution development Gathering data at each step and using it to recommend changes to reduce costs and improve service Exploring synergies across BHL and the wider logistics network Consolidating information into cohesive and understandable written form for use in management decision-making Continuously driving automation and efficiencies in reporting reducing time, quality and data integrity System administration, building and maintenance of an MI database Testing and development of mobile devices and supporting systems Support with managing a shared inbox and responding to day to day requests from the field Provide general support across the team What you’ll need to have Strong analytic and numerical skills, including how data can be generated, manipulated and applied into order to generate analysis and insight Experience with working with large data sets.
