We accept referrals for Orthopaedic Surgery, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Cardiology, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Physiotherapy as well as Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) and a Pain Clinic. Your role and responsibilities As an experienced HR Advisor working alongside the Anderson Moores Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational HR support for the hospital. In this role you will develop strong relationships with people managers and associates by providing sound advice and assistance, to ensure a full understanding of processes, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to drive capability through the line managers, whilst taking responsibility for leading the onsite People function. You will be expected to have a passion for delivering the very best possible service and support for associates, in all situations and at all times. You will have excellent communication skills, ensuring collaborative and effective working relationships between teams, leadership, and the wider Linnaeus group. You will proactively seek and share best practice across the centre, whilst developing and implementing sound systems, processes, and policies to ensure consistency across the site. This is a full-time permanent role. Key responsibilities: Operational Lead for the the local People Team ensuring they provide a positive, proactive, consistently high level of service to line managers and associates alike. Work alongside the SLT to deliver key objectives and produce agreed reporting. Provide training and development for line managers with regards to effective team/people leadership and implementation of the company's policies, procedures, and systems. Oversee the effective management of maternity/paternity and family leave policy implementation. Oversee the effective management of flexible working requests and implementation of the policy and procedure facilitating these requests. Maintain awareness of the impact of employment legislation changes and ensure up to date legal compliance in all People activities. Provide timely, professional HR advice to associates on HR policies, procedures, and terms & conditions of employment. Oversee the appraisal process, including quality assurance, coaching, training, and conducting some meetings with line managers. Oversee the exit interview process providing feedback and guidance to the SLT on areas and opportunities for improvement. Ensure personnel files and records are accurately maintained and retained as per legal and Group requirements. Promote the employee benefit options and process requests as necessary. Monitor sickness and holiday to ensure the process is being followed correctly and logged accurately. Ensure return to work meetings are held after sickness/absence from work and actions are logged and completed. Lead on internal people investigations, ensuring processes and policy are followed in a timely manner. Ensure training records are maintained and monitored, liaising with line managers as necessary. Ensure that there is effective support for colleagues experiencing ill health and that when appropriate services such as the EAP and occupational health are utilised. Ensure oversight and management of those colleagues taking regular and/or on long term sickness absence. Support line managers to implement the absence policy as and when appropriate. Support and advise line managers with regards to effective performance management, conduct and or capability issues. Ensure oversight of visas, right to work documentation and support for LMs and colleagues regarding the same.
