Axi Recruitment is proud to be supporting a valued client in Hull in their search for a qualified Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join their team. This role will report directly to the Head of Safety, Environment, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support on a range of HSE and compliance matters.
* Foster a strong Health and Safety culture, ensuring company standards are met and adhered to.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of HSEQ management systems, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ISO standards.
* Conduct risk assessments for return-to-work, pregnancy, and modified duties.
* Support the processing of insurance claims, conduct investigations, and manage claims tracking.
* Review PQQ submissions and provide feedback.
* Assist with HSEQ training needs and deliver in-house training sessions.
* Conduct site audits and visits as required.
* Lead investigations into incidents and accidents.
Experience and Qualifications:
* NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Construction, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge and experience with HSEQ management systems and ISO standards.
* Previous experience in a Health and Safety role.
* Familiarity with CDM regulations and best practices.
* Experience in conducting audits and investigations.
* IT proficient, including Microsoft Office packages.
* Full UK driving license and access to own transport.
