About the role:
Providing a first class service and putting our clients’ needs at the centre of everything we do is our priority and is integral to this role. We are seeking a Junior Solicitor with a keen interest in Wills, Trusts, and Probate to join our reputable team. As a Junior Solicitor, you will assist clients with drafting Wills, managing estates, administering trusts, and providing advice on inheritance tax and estate planning. You will be supporting the department Partner and Legal Director. Your support and assistance will contribute to the overall success of the business and helps us work towards and achieve our vision. We support staff in achieving STEP qualifications and if you already hold the STEP Diploma this will be advantageous. Responsibilities:
* Drafting Wills and assisting with Will preparations.
* Assisting with the administration of estates, including applying for Grants of Probate. Advising clients on inheritance tax, estate planning, and trust structures.
* Assisting in the preparation and administration of trusts. Preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
* Conducting legal research and preparing correspondence.
* Managing a caseload with supervision and maintaining client relationships.
* Assisting senior colleagues with complex cases and transactions.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Wills, Trusts, and Probate law (or experience gained through a legal trainee role or paralegal position).
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with support.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and legal procedures in private client matters.
* A strong client-focused approach with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
* A team player with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
* Commercially aware and able to work effectively to targets and deadlines.
* Experience dealing with high-net-worth clients or complex estates is an advantage.
* A strong desire to develop your expertise in Wills, Trusts, and Probate law.

* Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with clients.
* Commercially minded

* Business development experience is preferred
* Law degree/LPC or relevant legal qualification
