Despatch Co-ordinator / Assembler £25k - 27k p/a, Huddersfield, M-F, early Friday finish, T-P, pension, main bus route / free parking Job Role Due to continued success our Huddersfield based client are looking for a Despatch Co-ordinator / Assembler to join their growing team. Day to day duties will include: Import /export: Organising product shipments to ensure they arrive at their destinations efficiently Coordinating transport arrangements with subcontracted logistics provider Managing delivery schedules to meet customer expectations with minimal delay Preparing and managing essential documentation for despatch and exports Tracking orders to ensure traceability and accurate records Acting as a key contact between internal teams and transport companies to address delivery updates or issuesAssembly Preparing items to the spec sheet. You will be using hand tools and the opportunity to gain your folk lift and crane licence after a successful probationary period. Supporting loading operations and ensuring compliance with customer requirementsRequirements We would expect the successful Despatch Co-ordinator / Assembler to be able to demonstrate a knowledge of import / export regulations, have a strong work ethic and be able to follow the health and safety requirements of the environment. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within a logistics / import / export / good in / goods out environment.
