We’re seeking a talented Agricultural Engineer or experienced Agricultural Service Manager with a passion for service excellence, technical troubleshooting and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do as an Agricultural Service Manager:
* Lead & Manage: Oversee the efficient running of the service department, managing a team of technicians to deliver outstanding results.
* Organise Operations: Schedule and coordinate service appointments, on-site call-outs and workshop activities to ensure optimal workflow.
* Drive Profitability: Manage departmental P&L, pricing, invoicing and cost control to enhance service profitability.
* Technical Excellence: Oversee diagnostics and repairs on machinery—including hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems—and ensure proper safety demonstrations.
* Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by supporting the professional development of your team.
* Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring top-notch service and satisfaction while managing warranty, retail and internal invoicing.
* Health & Safety: Implement and adhere to current and future H&S regulations.
What We’re Looking For in an Agricultural Service Manager:
* Industry Experience: A proven background in managing service operations within the agricultural, construction or horticultural sectors.
* Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
* Financial Acumen: Familiarity with P&L management, budgeting and invoicing or the willingness to learn.
* Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and people management abilities, with the capacity to remain calm under pressure and multitask efficiently.
* Customer-Centric Approach: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and service excellence.
