About the role:
Wirral Council is looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator to plan and coordinate home to school/college/day centre transport for vulnerable special needs young people and adults.
About the candidate:
We're looking for an individual who is well organised and adaptable, able to work in a busy office responsible for 2000+ passengers on a daily basis. Key skills required include empathy with our client group and their families, an understanding of local road networks, the ability to deal with contractors, schools/colleges/day centres, a good telephone manner, and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
