Reporting to: Operations and Logistics Director
Working hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm (may change subject to business needs)
Location: Hybrid – Home Office / London Office near Green Park (minimum of two office days)
About the role
Your role as Stock Controller is required to support the Operations team and wider business in all aspects of inventory integrity, in line with stock loss and real-time brand stock view. In addition, this role involves responding to the needs of the commercial team, in terms of moving stock around the business in an accurate and timely manner, as well as any other key administrative tasks to maintain our inventory management system.
Key Accountabilities
* Conduct weekly, monthly and periodical inventory checks to ensure inventory integrity between the bi-annual stocktakes.
* Ensuring any stock variances within any trading locations within the business are closely monitored so they are spotted and resolved promptly.
* Conduct our bi-annual stocktakes in terms of investigations and final stocktake reporting, as well as preparing any other periodical inventory reporting as required by the business.
* Acting as the main contact for any stock or inventory queries from our brands, supporting them with the inventory audits for their stock trading within our business.
* Overseeing the physical and systemic movement of stock within the different warehouses that we stock product in globally.
* Support the rest of the team with day-to-day logistics tasks as and when required.

Key Requirements
* Excellent Excel skills, particularly to manipulate large and complex data sets, with great attention to detail.
* The ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines, displaying excellent time management, multitasking and prioritisation skills.
* Effective communicator and problem solver at different levels of seniority, internally and externally, with the ability to drive solutions in a friendly and proactive manner.
* Works well in a team but is equally happy and confident to work autonomously and proactively, using their own initiative to escalate concerns to their line manager honestly and promptly as required.
* Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and switch between detailed work and the bigger picture, considering the perspective of all stakeholders, in order to arrive at sound solutions quickly.
