Exciting Opportunities in Payroll
We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading company within the Waste Management industry, offering two newly created, full-time, permanent positions within their payroll team. These roles provide a fantastic opportunity for payroll professionals to shape and enhance the payroll systems and procedures within a dynamic organization.
Role: Payroll Manager
As a Payroll Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of payroll for the Group of companies. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels under pressure and can meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process monthly payroll for Group companies and handle any related queries.
· Ensure accurate processing of month-end, payroll journals, and year-end processes.
· Manage all third-party remittances, payments, and procedures.
· Handle payroll starters, leavers, and amendments.
· Keep the Group updated with legislative changes and ensure effective implementation.
· Implement internal controls to drive continuous improvements.
· Review current procedures and recommend enhancements to increase effectiveness.
· Lead various projects, both legacy and new.
· Conduct project work, data analysis, and business partnering.
· Engage and influence senior stakeholders on various projects and tasks.
· Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Detail-oriented and highly professional with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills using Excel and other Microsoft packages.
· Proven ability and experience in managing and processing end-to-end payroll.
· Good commercial acumen and confidence in influencing senior stakeholders.
· CIPP qualification (desirable).
