About the Role: Our client is looking for a Site Supervisor to join their Responsive Repairs Team in Hull. This is a great opportunity to lead and support trade operatives and subcontractors in delivering efficient, high-quality maintenance and repairs services to residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise trade operatives and subcontractors to ensure optimal productivity and profitability
2. Oversee daily job orders for maintenance and repairs activities
3. Deliver a high standard of customer-focused services across all maintenance operations
4. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the repairs service
5. Prepare job orders using a schedule of rates and narrative descriptions
6. Conduct pre-, post-, and intermediate site inspections
7. Perform quality checks on completed and ongoing projects
8. Collaborate with Project Managers and Area Housing Teams to meet performance targets
9. Identify and document repair needs, including taking photographic evidence and recharging costs as required
10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ideal Candidate:
1. Holds a CGLI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent construction trade qualification
2. Knowledge of NHF schedule of rates
3. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry
4. Proven experience in managing a repairs service, inspections, and post-inspections
5. Experience in social housing, covering voids, responsive repairs, and disrepair tasks
6. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
7. Demonstrated ability to improve service quality and team performance
