About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a growing team within our Mission Systems Division. In this role, you will provide technical oversight, drive cultural and operational change, and support the development of world-class aerospace systems. You will manage a dynamic team of 4 with plans for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Growth: Manage and mentor a team of Systems Engineers, supporting their development and contributing to team expansion.
Systems Engineering Expertise: Lead requirements management, system architecture development, and integration efforts. Tools such as DOORS and Cradle are essential, with a preference for expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML.
Collaboration: Work closely with global and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative aerospace solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Flexibility: Embrace a dynamic, ever-changing environment while driving positive change and fostering a collaborative culture.
Technical Contributions: Support design reviews, lifecycle processes, and system integration for aerospace applications like aircraft refuelling and actuation systems.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Working experience as a Systems Engineer or similar
Minimum 3 years managing a team and delivering systems engineering outputs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with tools such as DOORS, MBSE, and SysML.
Familiarity with tools like CAMEO.
Proven experience with full product lifecycle processes and design reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR).
Aerospace or defence industry experience is ideal, but candidates with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
