A well-established and recently refurbished veterinary practice in Stapleford is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. Positioned in a prime location on the main street, the practice is well-equipped and benefits from a supportive and collaborative team that takes pride in providing exceptional care to a welcoming client base. Situated on the edge of Nottingham, it offers excellent access to the M1 and the scenic Derbyshire countryside.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week over four days, with a requirement to cover one full weekend in six at a nearby hospital. Part-time applications are welcomed, and flexibility can be considered to accommodate individual needs.
The role involves delivering outstanding clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures, ensuring clients receive clear updates and tailored treatment plans. Maintaining the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance is essential, alongside mentoring and supporting the team to enhance their skills and contributions. Effective clinical leadership and a commitment to a progressive clinical culture are key aspects of the position, along with promoting best practices within the wider veterinary community.
Applicants must be RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeons with experience in providing high-quality patient and client care. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate clinical leadership, and support nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures is essential. Strong coaching and influencing skills will be valuable in helping colleagues perform at their best and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.
