Job overview
We are in need of a fun, enthusiastic and highly motivated colleague to join our busy and friendly Medical Staffing Team. Our team supports the Trust's four clinical divisions with all of their medical staffing needs.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on supporting the wider team to co-ordinate temporary staffing requirements for both planned and unplanned absence of medical staff, ensuring Trust staffing requirements are met.
The ability to work under pressure whilst managing changing priorities along with excellent organisational, communication and negotiating skills are all key requirements for this role.
Main duties of the job
* A good standard of English to GCSE (9-4 or A-C) or equivalent, and ability to demonstrate both excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience of working in a medical staffing role. Awareness of MMC, Working Time Directives (WTD).
* Day to day supervision of a team.
* Advanced level of IT literacy with experience of using a range of IT applications.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict Trust deadlines.
