12 Month Fixed Term Contract Estates Surveyor, based Edinburgh with flexible working My client is seeking a proven Estates Surveyor to undertake a 12 month fixed term contract, supporting with the management of a national occupier's commercial portfolio. This is a project specific role which will entail seeking consents whilst providing the full range of property management services to the client who has a high profile portfolio located across UK. Day to day responsibilities will include: Ensure cost effective operational running of allocated sites Liaison with clients and 3rd parties i.e. landlords and their agents to ensure uninterrupted use of the client’s premises, effectively acting as the intermediary between landlord and tenant Identify and drive through cost savings for corporate occupiers For sublet properties, monitor income collection and tenant liaison Manage exit strategies for freehold and leasehold properties being vacated Ensure adherence to lease terms and compliance with statutory requirements (to include inspections) and advising clients of same Manage and liaise with internal teams and external professionals to provide a full service to the client Maintain direct and frequent client contact and reporting The appointed Estates Surveyor must be able to demonstrate the following experience: An up to date knowledge of legislation regarding property management Demonstrable technical competence in property management Industry specific packages (e.g. TRAMPS/PM&A) Property management / general practice background for or within either a corporate, public sector or private practice Experience of working with commercial office and industrial assets Degree educated with membership of RICS This role requires an immediate start or 1 month's notice, so if you are looking for next fixed term contract position, please get in touch by applying via the link.
