We are seeking someone with demonstrable skills in director level nursing leadership and governance, proven experience in senior operational management and delivery in an acute NHS setting. You will also be able to quickly and confidently respond to issues of varying complexity across a breadth of services and portfolios.
You must be able to lead, direct, inspire and engage others, be committed to living our Barts Health WeCare values (welcoming, engaging, collaborative, accountable, respectful, equitable), and have the interests of our patients and staff at the centre of every decision.
The Director of Nursing & Governance is accountable for the delivery of the professional nursing, midwifery and AHP agenda and provides leadership on quality, safety and governance. This is a challenging and very rewarding role.
