Role Summary We have experienced huge growth and change in the last 18 months. Our marketing team is very busy and internal promotions have resulted in a vacancy becoming available. The Marketing Co-ordinator role plays a vital part in our day to day operations. Acting as the solid foundations to our team, you will work to support the marketing team in its varying administrative tasks so we can keep to schedule across our many campaigns. You will work with executives across the business to keep them updated and act as the internal representative for our team. This role is not to be underestimated, and it is a role that comes with a lot of responsibility, without this function the team would really struggle to deliver the high objectives we set ourselves. You should be the type of person who doesn’t need to wait for instruction, rather seizing the opportunity to be helpful whenever you see it. Someone who can focus during busy times is essential as we work in a busy and thriving sales office so we are in amongst all the action and can best support those teams. You should possess strong organisational skills and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. While knowledge of the telecoms industry is a plus, it’s not essential. Being highly organised is crucial in this role. You'll take the lead in managing electronic files, proposing more efficient workflows, forward planning, and creating processes that enable a small team to handle large-scale projects. Attention to detail is key, and you should have high standards, ensuring that nothing falls short of expectations. Effective communication is also vital. You'll need to engage clearly and concisely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. Given that we rely on support from across the business, you should feel comfortable communicating regularly and following up with senior leaders. Proficiency in the full Microsoft suite is essential, as you'll use these tools daily and should be able to demonstrate your expertise. Foundational marketing knowledge is required and will facilitate you to execute this role to the highest standard. Role Responsibilities including: • Support the marketing team through the organisation and administrative support for various projects • Maintain strong communication between marketing executives and internal and external stakeholders • Coordinate employee meetings and communications for the marketing department • Maintain executive schedules and oversee project load • Plan and assist in the preparation of presentations on behalf of the marketing team • Conduct research for key marketing campaigns • Organise and execute tasks from sales teams • Ensure materials for our partners are replenished regularly/create an ordering system • QA of all marketing materials and merchandise • Implement organised online filing system for marketing team • Work closely to provide PM’s and other internal stake holders with required information to support project plans • Regularly monitor competitors’ activity and changes within the market • Keep company CRM up to date • Ordering of materials, business cards, promotional materials etc • Tracking purchases, logging invoices, monitoring all deliveries • Look into events, most suitable for our brands and pricing enquiries and planning (with support) • Collating data and reporting, monitoring successes and failures • Supporting the wider company in its objectives • Prior to events, ensure all necessary information is organised, stands are clean and ready, and promotional materials like leaflets are ordered and available. • After events, check that all returned materials are in good condition, and store them properly for future use. • Ensure that the item log is kept up to date at all times as this does change regularly • Track and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring all expenses are accounted for. • Provide regular updates on the status of major projects within the marketing team. • Assist team members in completing high-priority tasks to ensure deadlines are met. • Coordinate and arrange any necessary training related to marketing activities. • Monitor attendance and responses to marketing-related requests, and follow up on any lack of response. The role and its responsibilities will be changeable and often tasks will come up ad-hoc requiring the role to be of a reactive nature. Every day will look different, but we will review regularly to ensure the responsibilities are clear and kept up to date. We are still growing and will continue to add to our team in the future
