A unique opportunity to begin a career in passive fire protection has opened up due to company expansion and increased workload. The role consists of the following, although not limited to: assisting the team with the installation of fire doors, undertaking fire door maintenance and servicing components, installation of passive fire protection systems, and other carpentry and joinery related works.
JWM are a Principal Contractor working solely for the social housing sector covering the Midlands & North regions.
The role is tailored for someone who is newly qualified in carpentry/joinery, self-employed, and willing to join our fantastic team to learn new skills in the passive fire sector. The role offers training and guidance given by our experienced installers to which the right candidate will work towards becoming an accredited fire door installer.
Payment will be made through the CIS Scheme on a subcontractor basis to be paid on the last working day of each month. Rates are negotiable depending on experience/qualifications.
