Electrical Engineer
Join our Automation team to design and deliver innovative Electrical Design Solutions for bespoke automated assembly machines used in production. Collaborate with Mechanical Design and Controls Teams, contributing from concept design to commissioning and validation of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical solutions and schematics for automated assembly machines.
Evaluate and select electrical components; maintain accurate BOMs.
Manage electrical builds in collaboration with suppliers and partners.
Provide technical support through design, build, debug, and commissioning phases.
Conduct electrical design reviews and contribute to risk and safety assessments.
Create and maintain documentation for new and upgraded equipment.
Requirements:
Experience with Eplan or SolidWorks Electrical.
Knowledge of electrical systems, safety circuits, PLCs, industrial networks, vision systems, robotics, and motion control.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills; team-oriented.
Qualifications:
Level 8 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent; or Qualified Electrician with relevant experience.
3+ years in a similar role.
