An opportunity has arisen to continue to develop and support the Vascular Access Service and Bone Marrow Harvest Service within the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
The post holder will be required to continue to develop this service alongside the band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist. They will need to have enthusiasm and passion for service improvement, patient safety and Infection Control Prevention.
The successful applicant will be responsible for patient assessment, line placement, audit, education, follow up and surveillance. Full clinical training will be provided internally.
This role will also include assistance with bone marrow harvesting and processing.
