Working as the Manager of a domiciliary care service, but without holding the CQC registration, you’ll be responsible for the day to day running of this office, ensuring staff are allocated appropriately, care provision is monitored to ensure that they are consistently delivering high quality, safe and effective homecare. You’ll ensure that the business continues to grow and that the company maintains an excellent reputation in the local community.
Here, you’ll be managing a private care provision, rather than LA contracts and so packages can be varied - ranging from typical care calls several times a day, to Live-in care. Quality is paramount and only the best will do, so we’re looking for a Care Manager who can inspire and lead teams to deliver excellence.
On offer is a salary of circa £27,000 - £37,000 dependent on experience. An annual performance bonus and opportunities for development. You’ll be working with a supportive leadership team, with committed and dedicated directors and a valued team of loyal care staff.

The Domiciliary Care Manager Role (though not Registered Manager)
* As the Domiciliary Care Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day to day operations of the homecare service, supporting clients across Bedford and Huntingdon to live independently within their own homes.
* You’ll conduct care assessments, create care plans and ensure that peoples care is reviewed in a regular basis.
* There is plenty of scope for the growth of this business within the local area, and you’ll work to build the business up
* You’ll oversee the Supervisor and Care Coordinators, ensuring that they have regular supervision, appraisal and training and that they are empowered to be the very best that they can be.
* You’ll ensure the continuous improvement of services through regular monitoring of the domiciliary care provision
Who would this role suit?
* Experience in a management role within domiciliary care is essential, you’ll have the skills needed to motivate a lead a team. You may have previously worked as a Registered Manager or it might be something you aspire to in the future, but for now in this role you’ll not need to hold registration as it is held by a director in their other office.
* You’ll demonstrate sound knowledge around CQC standards and requirements
* It would be great if you have exposure to working on the private client domiciliary care market
* You’ll ideally hold the QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management of Social Care services or equivalent
* You’ll need to be a driver with your own vehicle
