Our client has an immediate requirement for an SC Cleared Business Architect to support the integration of the logistics management solution into the Business Modernisation for Support (BMfS) Programme.
Initial contract for 12 months with the possibility of further extension subject to budget approval. Working a hybrid model between MOD Abbey Wood (expected 1 day per week) and remotely.
Fixed term salary up to £85,000 or contract rate (via umbrella) up to £600 per day inside IR35.
IR35 STATUS: The role has been confirmed as insideIR35 and candidates would need to operate via an umbrella company for this contract or on a fixed term model with Whiteflare.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The new Defence Support Solution Integration Authority (SIA) requires an experienced Business Architect to support the integration of the logistics management solution into the Business Modernisation for Support (BMfS) Programme.
Specific job skills:
The logistics management solution consists of a range of products covering inventory, warehousing and movements management.
The role will be responsible for supporting the logistics management programme in aligning with the Def Sp SIO Integration Blueprint through providing advice and guidance so that any potential issues can be rectified before service go-live, maximising service utility and return on investment.
Consequently, the role requires an experienced Business Architect with experience of working in the Defence Support environment. It is a hands-on, delivery focussed role which requires the ability to uncover and communicate appropriate standards, processes and templates that the Defence Support organisation can mandate to projects seeking to integrate within the Defence Support Enterprise (DSE).
The role will be required to work with stakeholders, subject matter experts and architects in the SIA team to define the BMfS ‘targets’ for assurance and the assurance ‘exam question’ to be answered.
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
* Provide integration guidance and support to the inventory logistics team.
* Identify and help to define targeted discovery activities to direct the Facilitation and Assurance teams in the SIA.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
* Enterprise Architect with experience of working in Defence Support engineering and logistics.
* Experience of digital services assurance and compliance.
* Knowledge of inventory and movements management.
* Comfortable with digital technologies and open standards
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Able to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
* Strong consulting and advisory skills
* Minimum of SC clearance.
* Experience of business change would be advantageous.
DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE,Hold some of the following Accreditations:
* Experience with difficult inventory (i.e. Ammunition).
* Experience with DSIMs, and or DFMS.
