Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Blackpool Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities Assisting students with their learning and development Supervising students during class and break times Preparing classroom materials and resources Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working in a school or educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Patience and empathy when working with students Organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Working hours may vary and could include evenings or weekends Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students Regular interaction with teachers, students, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
