Job Title: Male Support Worker - Bank/Driver
Location: West Heath, Birmingham (B31)
Salary: £11.54 per hour

Your day will be filled with fun activities, social engagement and providing one to one support for adults with mental health, learning disabilities and autism. You will take our people out on adventures, assist with daily tasks and encourage them to live their lives to the fullest!

What will the job involve?
1. Assisting our people to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities.
2. Offer stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activity.
3. Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
4. Booking and attending health care appointments with our people.
5. Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team.
6. Maintaining records by keeping care plans and risk assessments up to date.
What you will possess
7. Previous experience of working with autism, (ideally non-verbal), mental health and challenging behaviours.
8. The passion to support people in their day to day lives, promoting their independence.
9. Patience, care and understanding.
10. Ability to set clear boundaries.
11. Outgoing, engaging and enthusiastic.
