Service Coordinator
Location: Thetford, Norfolk
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-17:00. No Weekends
Salary: £33,000 basic p.a.
Benefits: Company Pension / Holiday Allowance: 25 days + bank holidays
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Our client has been trading for over 65 years, and has been developing, maintaining, producing and selling a range of drain cleaning equipment worldwide. They are able to demonstrate their equipment knowledge base, and their bespoke management software and mobile operational coverage is suitable for their customers.
The Service Coordinator Role:
1. Office / phone based.
2. Looking after 4 Mobile Engineers and 4 workshop staff.
3. Scheduling work for a team of mobile plant engineers.
4. Reading and understanding job sheets.
5. Producing job cards.
6. Ordering parts – good mechanical understanding needed as some parts are obscure.
7. Invoice sales orders after processing.
Service Coordinator Candidate Requirements:
1. Have exceptional communication skills and be able to manage and control engineers by phone and email – building relationships is key.
2. Previous automotive experience from an automotive service department background.
3. Good at organising diaries for people.
4. Proficient in spreadsheets and Microsoft platforms.
5. Be a very organised person with a can-do attitude.
6. Ability to work well alone as well as be a team player, able to work to deadlines, coupled with the ability to use your own initiative.
7. Motor Trade experience is essential.
