Buyers Admin Assistant – Childrenswear and Womenswear
Are you looking to work in a busy product team for a sustainable childrenswear and womenswear business? Are you a great organiser, communicator and planner with an interest in being part of a clothing business?
As a Buyers Admin Assistant at Kite your role will be to support the product team by performing a wide range of administrative, research and content creation activities.
Your responsibilities will be broader than the standard profile for this role. You will be expected to have a wide-ranging skill set and will be responsible for:
* Organising and managing the photoshoot process for childrenswear and womenswear
* Monitoring the sampling critical path and liaising with factories to ensure on time delivery of samples
* Preparing samples, information and equipment needed for trade shows
* Inputting data into the excel Range Plan
* Collating key data for new season launches
* Writing website copy
* Creating visual aids for e-commerce, using photoshop/InDesign
* Gathering market data relevant to Kite
* Supporting the smooth running of the product team administratively.
If you are the ideal candidate, you will have:
* Good organisational and time management skills, and a ‘can do’ attitude
* Ideally, a degree that has helped develop your writing and analytical skills
* Strong communication/interpersonal skills both verbal and written
* An interest in fashion and sustainability
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
* Aptitude to learn basic skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge and Acrobat.

What we offer

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. Your starting salary will be £24,000.
In addition to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, you will receive an extra day's holiday per year worked. We also provide a company pension and generous staff discount on our own products. There is free on-site parking and our office is located within walking distance of both Branksome train station and the main bus routes.
