Field Engineer - Heavy Plant Industry - UK Coverage (Based in Warwickshire)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the heavy plant industry, who are seeking an experienced Field Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work with a respected business, covering large parts of the UK while being stationed out of their office in Warwickshire. The role comes with a competitive salary and excellent overtime opportunities.
The Role:
As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant machinery. You will travel to customer sites across the UK, ensuring that equipment is operating efficiently and downtime is minimised. Based out of our client's Warwickshire office, you will have the support of a skilled team and access to the latest tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy plant machinery.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on-site.
3. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and manufacturer standards.
4. Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports in a timely manner.
5. Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients and offering technical support.
6. Travel to customer sites across the UK, as required.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience working as a Field Engineer in the heavy plant or related industry.
2. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy plant machinery.
3. Ability to diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
4. A relevant engineering qualification is preferred.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
