As a History teacher at this school, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the fascinating subject of History. Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver engaging history lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and achievement.
5. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
6. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect and encourages student participation.
7. Stay up to date with current educational trends and best practices in history teaching.
Minimum Requirements
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
2. Proven experience teaching history at the primary or secondary level.
3. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
6. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
7. Enthusiasm for the subject and a genuine passion for teaching history.
